RABBI MITCHELL ROCKLIN

President


Rabbi Mitchell Rocklin serves as the President of the Jewish
Coalition for Religious Liberty and is also a Resident Research Fellow at the Tikvah Fund. He received his Ph.D. in History from the Graduate Center of the City
University of New York, followed by postgraduate work at Princeton and Yeshiva University. Rabbi Rocklin is also a Chaplain in the Army National
Guard with the rank of Major. He is a member of the Rabbinical Council of America’s Executive Committee and Military Chaplaincy Committee, and has served as a congregational rabbi in Connecticut, as well as a lecturer at Princeton University and Hunter College. His work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and his writings have appeared in a number of publications, including the Los Angeles Times, National Review Online, Daily Wire, Forward, Public Discourse, and Mosaic.

HOWARD SLUGH, ESQ.

General Counsel

Howard Slugh is a founder and General Counsel of JCRL. He is also an attorney in Washington, DC focusing on constitutional law. His writings have been published in National Review Online, the Weekly Standard, Daily Wire, Baltimore Sun, Public Discourse, American, American Thinker, and other media.

AYLANA MEISEL

Acting Executive Director

Aylana Meisel is Deputy Director-General of the Tikvah Fund in Jerusalem, where she assists in mission development, strategy, and implementation across the Fund’s educational activities. Previously she worked for seven years at the Tikvah Fund US, helping to cultivate Jewish and conservative leadership in the United States and Israel. She has recruited and worked with hundreds of young leaders, as well as more senior professionals in policy, academia, journalism, government, and other disciplines. Her professional background includes experience in journalism, policy, and law. She obtained her J.D. at Georgetown University Law Center and her B.A. in Jewish Studies from the Macaulay Honors College at Queens College (CUNY). She has been published in the Jerusalem Post, Commentary Magazine, Washington Free Beacon, and Mosaic.
